Darkseid's cosmic-level power and reality-warping abilities exist far beyond the Doom Slayer's impressive but dimensionally-limited feats.
The Doom Slayer is gaming's ultimate power fantasy โ a warrior so feared that Hell itself trembles at his approach. He has fought through the demonic hordes for eons, killed the Dark Lord of the DOOM universe, slain Titans with the Crucible, and possesses strength and speed blessed by the Seraphim of Urdak. His arsenal includes the BFG-9000, the Crucible blade, and every weapon imaginable. In his own universe, the Doom Slayer is essentially unstoppable.
Darkseid, however, operates at a power tier that makes the DOOM universe look like a local disturbance. True-form Darkseid is a multiversal concept โ his fall through the multiverse in Final Crisis nearly destroyed all of reality. His Omega Beams can disintegrate beings who survive planetary-level attacks, the Anti-Life Equation enslaves all free will, and his avatars regularly fight Superman to standstills.
The Doom Slayer's feats, while incredible, are dimensional in scale โ he's conquered Hell and defeated its ruler. Darkseid has conquered thousands of worlds across multiple universes and regularly threatens all of existence. The power gap between king of one Hell dimension and multiversal cosmic entity is astronomical.
The Doom Slayer's rage and determination are his greatest assets, and the Crucible blade is a supernatural weapon that might theoretically harm Darkseid's avatar form. But Darkseid's Omega Beams, Omega Sanction, and reality-warping abilities provide win conditions that the Doom Slayer has never encountered and has no counter for.
The Doom Slayer has fought for eons and killed the Dark Lord of Hell. The Crucible blade can slay Titans, the BFG annihilates anything, and his Seraphim blessing makes him supernaturally powerful. His rage is canonically limitless, and he has never been defeated in his own universe. If his weapons have properties that work on New Gods, he could potentially damage Darkseid's avatar form.
Darkseid is a multiversal cosmic entity whose true form threatens all of reality. His Omega Beams can disintegrate Superman-tier beings, the Anti-Life Equation enslaves free will itself, and his avatars fight the entire Justice League simultaneously. The DOOM universe's Hell dimension is a local threat compared to Darkseid's cosmic domain. The power tier difference is simply too vast.
Darkseid wins convincingly. The Doom Slayer is an incredible warrior within his own universe, but Darkseid operates at a cosmic tier that the DOOM franchise doesn't approach. The Omega Beams alone likely end this fight, and Darkseid has dozens of abilities the Doom Slayer has never encountered. The Slayer's rage is impressive, but rage doesn't beat multiversal reality warping.
