Two of gaming's most unstoppable forces, and both have lore that scales to absurd levels. The Doom Slayer is blessed by the Seraphim with supernatural strength, wields the Crucible blade that can kill Titans, and has fought through literal Hell for eons without tiring. He single-handedly dismantled Hell's armies, killed the Icon of Sin (a being whose mere presence corrupts reality), and even defeated the Dark Lord — essentially God of the DOOM universe.

Kratos, meanwhile, has killed the entire Greek pantheon and gone toe-to-toe with the Norse gods. He killed Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, Hades, and Baldur. He's wielded the Blade of Olympus, tanked attacks from beings who control the fundamental forces of their universe, and his Spartan Rage provides a seemingly infinite reserve of berserker strength. His feats include flipping the Temple of Pandora, overpowering Cronos (a Titan), and resisting reality-warping attacks.

The key difference is the scale of opponents. The Doom Slayer fights demons and cosmic entities within the DOOM cosmology, which is powerful but more narrowly defined. Kratos fights gods who control weather, oceans, time, and death itself — and wins. The Doom Slayer's arsenal (BFG, Crucible, Unmakyr) is devastating, but Kratos has tanked attacks from beings with comparable or greater destructive output. Both are rage-fueled, both are nearly unkillable, but Kratos's proven track record against reality-warping deities gives him the slight edge.
