What the battle lab remembers

WhoWouldWin does not require a public account, profile, nickname or comment. A small amount of data is used to preserve your choices and calculate anonymous community totals.

Data stored on your device

  • Your battle picks, so the same browser does not vote twice accidentally.
  • Your selected reasons, verdict reactions and scenario-rematch choices.
  • Your best game score.
  • A random anonymous browser key used to deduplicate structured votes.

This data uses browser localStorage. You can remove it through your browser settings.

Community aggregates

When the community service is available, it stores numeric totals for fighter picks, structured reasons, agreement with the editorial verdict and scenario-rematch votes.

The random browser key is combined with the battle and action scope, then SHA-256 hashed before the deduplication record is stored. The service does not store public profiles, nicknames or free-text comments.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregated traffic and page performance. We use these reports to improve the site, not to build personal advertising profiles.

Service providers

Hosting, analytics and the community data store may process limited technical data, including normal service logs, needed to deliver and protect the service. WhoWouldWin does not sell personal information.

Requests

For a privacy question, email info@whowouldwin.club. Because community responses are anonymous and aggregated, an individual response may not be identifiable after local browser data is removed.

Changes

This policy will be updated before adding materially different tracking, advertising, public comments or account features.
