Hulk's limitless strength scaling and healing factor are too much for even the King of Skull Island.
King Kong is an impressive kaiju โ he's gone toe-to-toe with Godzilla and wielded weapons with primate intelligence. But the Hulk is in a different class of fictional powerhouse.
Even MonsterVerse Kong, who stands around 300 feet tall, is fighting a being whose strength literally has no ceiling. Hulk's base strength can crack continents, and it only goes up from there. Kong's punches would hurt Hulk initially, making him angrier, making him stronger, creating the exact feedback loop that makes Hulk unbeatable in prolonged fights.
Kong's intelligence is his best asset โ he uses tools, sets traps, and fights tactically. But Hulk's healing factor means tactical advantages are temporary. You can stab Hulk, burn him, or drop a mountain on him, and he shrugs it off while getting angrier.
The size difference (Kong is much larger) doesn't help as much as you'd think. Hulk has fought and defeated beings exponentially larger than himself. Size is not an obstacle for the Hulk โ it's just more surface area to punch.
Hulk's strength is limitless and scales with rage. His healing factor makes him virtually indestructible. He's fought cosmic-tier beings that make Kong look small. Even if Kong's initial blows are devastating, they only make Hulk more dangerous.
Kong's massive size gives him reach and leverage advantages. His intelligence allows tool use and environmental tactics. He could potentially use weapons (the battle axe from Godzilla vs. Kong) that might overcome Hulk's healing factor. Kong has defeated kaiju-class opponents through ingenuity.
Hulk wins through his anger-scaling mechanic. Kong can win the early exchanges, but every hit makes Hulk stronger. Eventually, Hulk's power escalates beyond what Kong can handle, and his healing factor means Kong's damage doesn't stick. It's a matter of when, not if.
