Godzilla is the undisputed King of the Monsters — a virtually indestructible kaiju with atomic breath capable of melting through virtually any material, immense regeneration, and a body that has tanked nuclear weapons. At his peak, Godzilla has fought planet-threatening entities and emerged victorious through sheer durability and devastating firepower.

Kratos has faced enormous enemies before — the Titans in God of War were colossal beings comparable to Godzilla in scale. Cronos, for example, was a mountain-sized Titan that Kratos defeated from the inside out. The Ghost of Sparta is experienced at fighting enemies hundreds of times his size, and his divine weapons are explicitly designed to harm immortal, godlike beings.

The Leviathan Axe and Blades of Chaos are magical weapons that bypass conventional durability, which is crucial against Godzilla's near-impervious hide. Kratos' Spartan Rage amplifies his strength to levels that have staggered gods, and his combat intelligence means he would target weak points rather than trying to overpower the kaiju directly.

Godzilla's atomic breath is the most dangerous variable. A direct hit could be lethal even to Kratos. But Kratos has dodged attacks from Zeus' lightning bolts and Thor's Mjolnir — he has the reflexes to avoid the telegraphed atomic beam. The fight would require Kratos to close distance, climb the kaiju, and deliver killing blows to vulnerable areas, which is exactly the kind of fight he has won before.
