This is one of the most extreme power mismatches possible. Galactus devours entire planets and wields the Power Cosmic. Wolverine has adamantium claws and a healing factor. Wolverine's claws cannot even reach Galactus — the cosmic entity stands hundreds of feet tall and can destroy Logan with a thought.

Wolverine's healing factor is impressive against physical damage, but Galactus can manipulate matter at a molecular level. He could simply unmake the adamantium, remove Wolverine's healing factor at a genetic level, or transmute Logan into something inert. The healing factor was never designed to counter reality manipulation.

Wolverine's courage and determination are legendary — he would absolutely try to fight Galactus and would never surrender. But courage does not bridge a gap between a street-level mutant and a cosmic entity who eats worlds.
