Galactus is a cosmic entity; Wolverine is a mutant with sharp claws. The mismatch is total.
This is one of the most extreme power mismatches possible. Galactus devours entire planets and wields the Power Cosmic. Wolverine has adamantium claws and a healing factor. Wolverine's claws cannot even reach Galactus โ the cosmic entity stands hundreds of feet tall and can destroy Logan with a thought.
Wolverine's healing factor is impressive against physical damage, but Galactus can manipulate matter at a molecular level. He could simply unmake the adamantium, remove Wolverine's healing factor at a genetic level, or transmute Logan into something inert. The healing factor was never designed to counter reality manipulation.
Wolverine's courage and determination are legendary โ he would absolutely try to fight Galactus and would never surrender. But courage does not bridge a gap between a street-level mutant and a cosmic entity who eats worlds.
Galactus can unmake Wolverine at a molecular level, drain his life force, or simply step on him. The Power Cosmic operates at a scale that makes adamantium claws completely irrelevant.
Wolverine's adamantium claws are indestructible and his healing factor has recovered from near-total destruction. His berserker rage and refusal to die make him relentless against any opponent.
Galactus wins without noticing the fight happened. Wolverine is formidable at his tier, but a cosmic entity who devours planets is so far above a clawed mutant that the matchup is meaningless.
