Vegeta in Ultra Ego form operates at universal levels — his Hakai can erase matter from existence, his power grows the more damage he takes, and his combat intelligence is arguably superior to Goku's. He's a Saiyan prince with centuries of battle experience and pride that literally fuels his transformation.

Superman at his peak has held black holes, survived supernovas, vibrated through dimensions, and bench-pressed the Earth's weight for five consecutive days without rest. His speed matches or exceeds the Flash in short bursts, and his heat vision operates at temperatures beyond the sun's core. He has no ki to detect, which removes one of Vegeta's key tactical advantages.

The key factor is that Vegeta's Ultra Ego requires him to take damage to power up — he intentionally tanks hits to grow stronger. Against Superman, this is incredibly dangerous because Superman's hits carry planetary-to-stellar force. Vegeta might power up from the damage, but Superman's sustained output could overwhelm the Saiyan before Ultra Ego reaches its peak. Unlike Goku's Ultra Instinct, which avoids damage entirely, Ultra Ego's mechanic is inherently risky against someone who hits this hard.
