KratosvsWonder Woman

Kratos is the ultimate god-killer in gaming — he has destroyed the Greek and Norse pantheons, wielding the Blades of Chaos and Leviathan Axe against beings of immense divine power. His Spartan Rage makes him virtually unstoppable in close combat, and his feats include killing Zeus, Thor, and Odin. He is relentless, brutal, and incredibly difficult to put down.

Wonder Woman, however, operates at DC Comics power levels, which significantly exceed the mythological scale Kratos operates in. Diana has matched Superman in combat, deflected Darkseid's Omega Beams, and fought at speeds that exceed light. Her Bracelets of Submission can absorb godlike attacks, her Lasso of Truth is unbreakable, and her sword can cut at the atomic level.

Both characters are warrior-born with divine heritage. Kratos is the son of Zeus in his universe, and Wonder Woman is the daughter of Zeus in DC continuity. But DC's Zeus is incomparably more powerful than God of War's Zeus, and the power scale of Diana's universe dwarfs Kratos' gaming mythology by orders of magnitude.

Kratos' greatest strength — his ability to kill gods — is less impressive when the gods he killed operate at mythological power levels rather than DC Comics power levels. Wonder Woman has fought beings who casually destroy planets, while Kratos' enemies topped out at country-to-continental scale threats. The gap in speed alone is likely decisive.
