True Form Darkseid is a multiversal concept — a being so massive that his fall through the multiverse nearly destroyed reality. Against that version, this discussion is moot; nobody in Dragon Ball has faced that tier of threat.

But against Avatar Darkseid (the version that fights Superman), Goku has a genuine shot. Goku's speed in Ultra Instinct is vastly superior — he can dodge faster than thought itself. The Omega Beams are homing and nearly unavoidable, but characters have dodged them in DC (Flash, Batman with prep). Goku's autonomous Ultra Instinct dodge could potentially evade them.

Darkseid's durability is god-tier, and his Omega Beams are devastating. But Goku's power output at the universal scale exceeds what Avatar Darkseid typically tanks. A serious Kamehameha might genuinely damage a New God avatar.

The wild card is that Goku gets stronger during combat. Even if Darkseid initially outmatches him, the Saiyan scaling mechanic means the gap closes with every exchange.
