Medusa's power is terrifying in concept — one direct look at her face turns any living being to stone instantly. This ability has no defense in Greek mythology, and she was so dangerous that even after death, her severed head was used as a weapon by Perseus and later Athena. Her serpentine hair attacks independently, and her monstrous form gives her superhuman strength and durability.

Gojo Satoru, however, is built to counter exactly this kind of ability. His Infinity technique creates a mathematical barrier between himself and any incoming attack or effect — objects and energy slow infinitely as they approach him, never actually reaching him. Whether Medusa's gaze operates as a visual attack, a magical curse, or some form of energy, Infinity would theoretically neutralize it before it reaches Gojo's body.

Even if we assume Medusa's petrification somehow bypasses Infinity, Gojo's Six Eyes let him perceive cursed energy and threats at a fundamental level. He could simply fight with his eyes closed or his blindfold on, using his Six Eyes to navigate without ever looking at Medusa directly — exactly how Perseus defeated her in the original myth.

Gojo's offensive capabilities are equally overwhelming. Hollow Purple erases matter at the atomic level, and his raw speed and cursed energy output dwarf anything in Greek mythology. Medusa is a terrifying monster, but Gojo is a character specifically designed to be the strongest in a universe of supernatural fighters.
