Two of anime's most iconic rivals (to their respective protagonists), and both peak at impressively similar tiers. Sasuke's Rinnegan gives him space-time manipulation, Amenotejikara position-swapping, and access to all Six Paths abilities. His Susanoo is a perfect-body colossus, Amaterasu generates inextinguishable flames, and his combat intelligence is exceptional. In the Naruto universe, end-of-series Sasuke is second only to Naruto himself.

Ichigo's True Bankai compresses all his spiritual energy into devastating speed and attack potency. His Getsuga Tensho cuts through dimensional barriers, his Hollow form grants high-speed regeneration, and his spiritual pressure is so dense that it exists on a level that weaker beings literally cannot perceive. Against Yhwach — who could alter the future itself — Ichigo's raw power was enough to land the killing blow.

The speed differential favors Ichigo. His Bankai is explicitly designed to compress all power into speed, and by the Thousand-Year Blood War arc, he's moving faster than characters who were already massively FTL. Sasuke is fast, but Naruto's speed tier generally sits below Bleach's top tiers.

Sasuke's versatility is his counterargument. Amenotejikara could theoretically disrupt Ichigo's speed advantage, Amaterasu ignites anything it touches, and a Domain-like Susanoo provides both offense and defense simultaneously. But Ichigo's spiritual pressure has overwhelmed similar hax abilities before — his raw power tends to overrule complex ability interactions.
