The power scaling gap between Dragon Ball and Naruto is simply too vast for Naruto to overcome.
This matchup is emotionally close for anime fans but mathematically isn't. The power scales of Dragon Ball and Naruto operate in entirely different universes โ literally. By the Saiyan Saga alone, Goku was fighting planet-busters. Naruto at his absolute peak is a continental-to-planetary-level threat at most generous scaling.
Naruto in Baryon Mode or Six Paths Sage Mode is absurdly powerful within his own universe โ he can split the moon, create massive tailed beast bombs, and move at speeds faster than lightning. But Goku in base form by the Tournament of Power arc was already universal-level. Ultra Instinct Goku exists in a completely different power bracket.
The speed gap is equally enormous. Goku can move millions of times the speed of light by most powerscaling calculations. Naruto is massively hypersonic โ fast by real-world standards, but not even close to Goku's tier.
That said, Naruto's arsenal is fascinating โ shadow clones, rasenshuriken, truth-seeking orbs that erase on a molecular level, and of course, Talk no Jutsu. If this were a battle of willpower, determination, and never-give-up attitude, Naruto wouldn't lose to anyone. But in raw power, Goku is simply on another level.
Goku's base form alone exceeds Naruto's peak output by several orders of magnitude. Ultra Instinct provides autonomous combat response that Naruto's sage sensing can't match. A casual ki blast from Goku could destroy planets โ the destructive scale isn't comparable. Goku also improves during battle, meaning even if Naruto starts stronger (he doesn't), Goku would surpass him mid-fight.
Naruto's versatility is his strongest argument. Shadow clones provide tactical options that Goku rarely faces. Truth-seeking orbs erase matter on contact โ if one touches Goku, it could theoretically bypass durability. Naruto also has regeneration via Kurama's chakra, the ability to sense negative emotions and intentions, and years of tactical combat experience fighting diverse opponents. Against a weaker version of Goku, Naruto's toolkit could be decisive.
Goku wins decisively. The power gap between the Dragon Ball and Naruto universes is several orders of magnitude, and no amount of clever jutsu combinations can close that gap. Naruto is an incredible character, but this is like putting a fighter jet against a starship โ they're simply not operating on the same scale.
