Thor's divine power and Mjolnir ultimately overwhelm Doom's impressive combination of tech and sorcery.
Doctor Doom is one of the few non-cosmic characters who can genuinely challenge Thor. His combination of advanced technology and powerful sorcery gives him tools to combat both Thor's physical might and mystical nature. Doom's force fields can withstand tremendous punishment, and his magical attacks bypass conventional defenses.
However, Thor is an Asgardian god with strength approaching the Hulk's level, the ability to summon planet-shattering lightning, and Mjolnir โ a weapon forged in the heart of a dying star. Thor has broken through force fields far more powerful than Doom's, and his own divine nature grants resistance to sorcery.
Doom has fought Thor in the comics and held his own temporarily, but Thor with Mjolnir operating at full power is simply too much. The God of Thunder's combination of physical might and divine energy attacks can overwhelm Doom's defenses eventually, and Thor's durability means Doom's attacks are wearing down a near-limitless health pool.
Doom's sorcery can bypass Thor's physical defenses and his technology provides additional attack vectors. He has fought Thor effectively before and his tactical genius lets him exploit patterns in Thor's aggressive fighting style.
Thor wields Mjolnir, commands divine lightning that can shatter planets, and has godlike strength and durability. His divine nature provides resistance to sorcery, and his raw power can eventually overwhelm any defense.
Thor wins through overwhelming divine power. Doom can make it competitive through clever use of magic and technology, but Thor at full power generates more force than Doom's defenses can sustain long-term.
