A city-sized fire-breathing flying reptile vs a big cat. The tiger is lunch.
The European dragon is a mythological apex predator of essentially limitless proportions โ fire breath, flight, diamond-hard scales, and a mass measured in tons. The Bengal tiger is an impressive real-world predator that tops out at 600 pounds.
This is like asking 'could a house cat beat a fighter jet?' The tiger's claws can't penetrate dragon scales, its teeth can't reach through dragon fire, and it can't fly to close the distance. The dragon could end this from a mile away with a single breath of fire.
Fire breath, flight, impenetrable scales, and massive size make the dragon untouchable. The tiger has literally no offensive or defensive options against a mythological apex predator.
The tiger is fast, stealthy, and an ambush specialist. If it could somehow get under the dragon's belly where scales might be thinner... but realistically, fire breath ends any approach.
The dragon wins without effort. Mythological beings exist at a completely different power tier than real-world animals. The tiger is magnificent against real-world opponents; it's prey against a dragon.
